Almost Forgot! –
🌈💙Happy Pride Month Ya’ll💜💚🌈
I got this from HRC.org and figured I would share a little history 🤓 – “Nearly 48 years ago, during the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, LGBTQ patrons of the Stonewall Inn in New York City decided enough was enough. It was on that fateful night that LGBTQ people took a stand and fought back against the brutal intimidation and harassment they faced on a regular basis.
The Stonewall Riots inspired a social awakening for many in the LGBTQ community and had a profound impact on the nation’s perception of LGBTQ people. The following year on June 28th, 1970 the first Pride marches took place in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles to commemorate the anniversary of this brave stand against injustice.” – Human Rights Campaign #betrue
