Chi-Town Wrap Up

January 7, 2017

One of my favorite trips ever (even if the high was about 5F/-15C degrees over a 4 day period). We didn’t do much outside which left a lot of time for ridiculous banter. From testing iPhone 8’s portrait more, to drooling over all the men in boystown, to getting our bluegrass on for NYE, for having Mercedes “open up” in front of the camera, to seeing some of the most famous art pieces in the world @ the Art Institute, to late nigh D&M’s (or wait, is it DTM? DXM?), to taking Lift when you can take the subway, to Mamba chasing fuzz, Nicoles famous breakfast, to pending hernia surgeries as well as make your own bloody mary bars.. I love Chicago so much, I cant say I’ll be back anytime in the winter, but count me in for the summer (and for me never leaving boystown the entire time I am there) – but most importantly to my three mates as we continue to grow together and make many more ridiculous memories such as this

RIP Missy :(

January 5, 2017

FB Friends and Family – Please keep our dog Missy in your thoughts, prayers and intentions. Her health rapidly decreased over the last week and it’s not looking good. Anyone who knows my mom knows how extremely difficult this is for her. This will be our fourth animal to pass in the last two years so needless to say it’s been tough. If you would please, please keep my mom in your thoughts as well as our little Missy as she starts her journey to the unknown, we’d really appreciate it. Hug your loved ones.

Happy New Years!

January 1, 2017

Happy New Years from the OG-Dallas crew who survived possibly the coldest four days “ever” in Chicago. I’m not sure if we drank more or ate more?  I love this city.

Buh-Bye 2017

December 31, 2017

BuhBye 2017. It was a pretty big year personally. Leaving Queenstown, road tripping through NZ, a little 10 day trip to Sydney, moving to Texas, moving to Denver, getting settled into a new job, attending a couple incredible weddings, sprained my knee, messed up my back, started taking up fitness, had a my hetero-life-mate visit Denver, reunited with my NZ family in Las Vegas, got to spend Christmas with my family for the first time in 4 years.. I could go on and on and all I can say is I am a very lucky man. I am very thankful. I am finishing this year out with 3 of my best friends in the worlds coolest (literally) town, Chicago! We got cultured today at the Arts Institute of Chicago when I stumbled upon a painting I have always loved since I was a little kid. For whatever reason, this meant a lot. Anyways, heres to everyones continued health and happiness in 2018!
