Chasing Waterfalls on Moke Lake

January 10, 2017

Today was the first day in over a week where it wasn’t raining and we had some sort of “summer” warmth here in Queenstown. Therefore, we took a drive to Moke Lake nearby and did a walk along a riverbed until we found a “secret” waterfall nested at the end. On the way back the horses at a nearby stable had been released into the fields and were quite friendly as you can see! I’m still not sure which part of the day was my favorite.. The hike to the waterfall or petting & feeding the horses! 🤔 I love how horses keep popping into my life so far this year!
